Governments are responding with interest rate cuts and quantitative easing programmes on a scale not seen since the 2008 financial disaster. Until the COVID-19 pandemic ceases to exist, the Government will likely implement restrictions on social elements of public lives and the influence of such restrictions to companies. Until now, there have not been any new regulations with regard to termination of employment particularly through the COVID-19 pandemic. In this regard, employers should follow the procedures of termination of employment underneath the Indonesian Employment Law and its implementing regulations.
